I notice the article is fairly old. Is ART still offering discounts?

Roger,

Discounts will be offered to yearly subscribers to SuperMotors. We're working on relationships with vendors for other discounts as well and will be posting this information when the ability to purchase membership is online again (mid-to-late October).

The article itself is old, but it's the same process for the newer vehicles. We'll link the discount information from the article when it is publicly available on SuperMotors. ART has been working on their e-commerce system to accept discount codes for SuperMotors subscribers -- I will confirm with them that it is fully functional. Please contact me via e-mail (click on my name to the left) and I can tell you more of the details.

[quote] Banks six gun for the 7.3 psd is better than I expected . Just got it installed yesterday. I have it stacked with the superchips tri-tuner plus a turbomax turbo, monster exhaust ,afe intake and all the gauges. My 2000 X will run with any new modified 6.0 according to Diesel Injection Co., the people who installed it. I highly suggest that you check it out!!!!!

That looks like a fairly simple remove & replace. No more taking apart the hub to get to the rotors? Are the ART rotors different from others?

It is a very straightforward project. There's no need to takeapart the hub to remove the rotors. It's not the design of the ART rotors, it's just how the Ford brakes are designed. I'm not aware of any Fords where you needed to remove the hub assembly to swap rotors...? My '78 Bronco, '91 Bronco, '89 F150, and '97 F250 all were similar designs.

Got it. Guess I've only done 1/2-ton and 3/4-ton brake swaps.

No, the ART rotors are the same as the Ford parts. They buy the rotors and add their technology (cryogenic hardening). I'm still very pleased with mine after almost 30k miles.
